The vast realm of the communications industry is always looking for a fresh voice, a fresh look; Whether its radio or TV, there is someone needed who can add the bang to the buck!

Vonyetta is double that bang. She is universal and an all around player; An individual that can adapt to Urban, Urban AC, and Christian formats. Vonyetta, originally born Adrien Lake, started in radio in 1999 when she was 14 years old. She started her journey on the Teen Forum Show. The show started out being a statewide syndicated show for South Carolina. Topics for the show included politics, teen issues, and more. In 2001, the show moved to a national syndication level. At this point, Adrien's young voice was being heard in seven states across the country. Adrien was hired at Hot 103.9 in 2003 and eventually became an on-air personality, and thus Vonyetta was born. Vonyetta became the midday host at Hot 103.9 in Columbia, SC and later advanced to the midday personality at Power 98 in Charlotte, NC. Having held the spot as the #1 midday personality in the Charlotte market landed her awards for “Favorite Midday Personality” in 2014 and “Best Midday Show” in 2016 for the “Best In The City Awards.” Vonyetta also appears on Fox 46 Good Day Charlotte for the top rated “Pop Culture Talk” segment. In addition to Pop Culture Talk, there is a weekly Empire rap up show hosted by Vonyetta. Vonyetta is responsible for gathering compelling topics, stories, and commentary.

She also provides fashion and full recaps of award shows as well major television shows on Fox. Another television accomplishment reached involves a national platform. Vonyetta has served as a Social Media Correspondent for The Talk on CBS. This was an amazing opportunity that will surely vet into other national appearances. Among spending time with family, Vonyetta enjoys tackling a new market and making a large community impact in the world.

Vonyetta is currently a mentor with Big Dreamz Foundation in addition to starting an affordable make-up line. She has been heavily involved in the community. Recently, while pregnant, Vonyetta partnered with Motivation Marketing and Florence Crittenton Services for “The Big Giveback.” Florence Crittenton is a home for young mothers. The center assists these women with getting prepared for the world with a small child. They provide housing, parenting classes, job search assistance, and more. With the help of many sponsors, Vonyetta did a baby shower of her own with a few young girls at Florence Crittenton. There were many donations received, but the best one came from Britax. Britax is a national baby gear company. They donated brand new travel systems to all of the residents that attended the baby shower.

It will be a matter of time before this new wife, mother, and time bomb of talent blows into a national household name.
